After three days and nights of travel , you finally arrive at the entrance of Feng Village , where Dou Wang stood in ruin and shadow . Feng feels like a breath of sunlight . Wooden houses rest on tall stelts swaying gently with the breeze . Small rice paddies stretch out in the shallow terraces . In the distance , two forests loam pinching the village between green arms . Here the sun rises . Before you , feng Village stirs with life . A tapestry of colorful banners , flickering lanterns , shusui . You know these banners , these prayer flags , and from this you can tell that today is the Wind Festival , the day the people of Yuping honor the changing of the seasons and offer thanks to the elemental spirits who guard the land . For the first time in what feels like a long time , you feel it Peace , warmth . Here , in the valley of the changing winds , the world breathes and for a little while it smiles .
